I’ve been providing exclusive packages, solid copy and quality, story-telling photographs to local, regional and national press since 2009, including an exclusive frontpage splash on the wedding of Benedict Cumberbatch with The Sun.

As well as my freelance work, I am the Editor and Publisher of Island Echo, a multi-award-winning 24-hour news website for the Isle of Wight that publishes over 5,000 articles a year.

In October 2019, Island Echo was named Micro Business of the Year at the IW Chamber Business Awards for Excellence. (https://www.holdthefrontpage.co.uk/2019/news/news-website-reveals-expansion-plan-after-award-victory/).

In June 2020, Island Echo was Highly Commended for ICNN Community Website of the Year at the newsawards 2020.

It was in November 2021 that Island Echo went on to win the ICNN Community Website of the Year at newsawards 2021, sponsored by Google News Initiative.

For the past 10+ years, I have been a member of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) and I’m an accredited UK Press Card holder. I also hold a Diploma with Honours in Media Law from the London School of Journalism and on top of that I am also an insured and registered drone pilot.

I’m available for interviews on industry matters and specific news stories, with experience of live broadcasting to BBC Radio and Sky News.
